National Arts Council

NAC Management Scholarship

Courses / Disciplines: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline except medicine, dentistry and pharmacy
Universities / Institutions: Full-time courses at any recognised universities or arts institutions in Singapore or overseas
Value & Benefits: Full scholarship
Requirements: • Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents and;
• Possess GCE 'A' Level, Diploma, International Baccalaureate or equivalent

Applicants who have started their undergraduate programme may apply. However, there must be at least 12 months to the completion of study from the point of scholarship award. The Scholarship will cover applicable fees and allowances from the point of award
Bond Duration: Recipients pursuing study locally will serve a 4-year bond with NAC;

Recipients pursuing overseas study will serve a 6-year bond with NAC

NAC Arts Scholarship (Undergraduate)

Courses / Disciplines: Bachelor’s degree in the fields of performing arts, visual arts (fine arts only), literary arts, arts management or technical arts design and production
Universities / Institutions: Full-time courses at any recognised universities or arts institutions in Singapore or overseas
Value & Benefits: S$100,000 for overseas study, S$10,000 per year for local study (up to 4 years)
Requirements: • Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents and;
• Possess GCE 'A' Level, Diploma, International Baccalaureate or equivalent certificate to apply for undergraduate scholarship

Bond Duration: Scholarship recipients will fulfil a 2-year service commitment in Singapore's arts and cultural sector over a period of 5 years upon graduation

Courses / Disciplines: Postgraduate degree in the fields of performing arts, visual arts (fine arts only), literary arts, arts management or technical arts design and production
Universities / Institutions: Full-time courses at any recognised universities or arts institutions in Singapore or overseas
Value & Benefits: S$100,000 for overseas study, S$20,000 per year for local study (up to 2 years)
Requirements: • Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents and;
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent to apply for postgraduate scholarship.

National Council Of Social Service (NCSS)

Social Service Scholarship (Local)

Courses / Disciplines: • Social Work
• Psychology
• Occupational Therapy
• Physiotherapy
• Speech Therapy
Universities / Institutions: To pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies at local universities (Psychology studies is only supported for postgraduate studies.)
Value & Benefits: • Full tuition fees
• Hostel fees
• Maintenance allowance
• Pre-Studies Allowance (once-off)
• Sponsorship for student exchange programme (for one semester, subject to the NCSS’s approval)
Requirements: • Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents
• Excellent GCE ‘A’ Level, International Baccalaureate (IB), Diploma and/ or University results
• Displays strong leadership qualities
• Has strong interest to work in the social service sector

Mid-term scholarship
Current undergraduates who fulfil either of the following may apply:
• Completed at least one semester in the first year of undergraduate studies
• Have at least one year left of studies
Bond Duration: 4 years (undergraduate)
3 years (postgraduate)

Social Service Scholarship (Overseas)

Courses / Disciplines: • Social Work
• Psychology

Universities / Institutions: To pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies at overseas universities which are of good standing and meets professional accreditation requirements (Psychology studies is only supported for postgraduate studies.)

• Two one-way economy class airfare
• Maintenance allowance
• Book allowance
• Pre-Studies Allowance (once-off)
• Sponsorship for student exchange programme (for one semester, subject to the NCSS’s approval)
