1.     PSC Scholarship (Engineering)

MINDEF Scholarship Centre (MSC)

Summary:

The PSC Scholarship (Engineering) – Defence and Security is launched starting from the 2017 scholarships exercise. PSC seeks to award the scholarship to students who have an interest to study and practise engineering in the public service and passion to use their skills to ensure that Singapore continues to be technologically innovative and stays ahead of competition, both regionally and globally.

The scholarship offers a specialised engineering career proposition from the start. The specialised engineering career track allows scholarship holders to develop deep technical capabilities in the Defence and Security cluster in the early part of their careers.

There will be opportunities to work in MINDEF/SAF agencies whose core business lies in engineering. As specialised engineers, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, and key to developing the deep technical capabilities vital to meet future defence and security challenges.

Eligibility:

·        Good GCE 'A' Level or International Baccalaureate results, Polytechnic Diploma (with Merit) or equivalent

·        Good co-curricular activities (CCA) records

·        Singapore citizens or permanent residents intending to take up citizenship

·        All MINDEF/SAF scholarships are open for application to both genders

2.     Healthcare Administration Scholarship

MOH Holdings Pte Ltd (MOHH)

Summary:

This is awarded to students who wish to pursue a meaningful and challenging career as a healthcare administrator in Singapore's public healthcare sector.

Eligibility:

·        Singapore Citizen

·        Good co-curricular activities record and strong leadership qualities

·        Passion for serving in the public healthcare sector

·        Good communication skills

·        Achieve outstanding A-Level results, diploma with merit/distinction or equivalent qualifications (e.g. International Baccalaureate (IB) or NUS high school diploma

Applicable Fields of Study:

All disciplines such as Business, Accountancy, Economics except for Medicine, Dentistry and other healthcare related disciplines.

3.     NHB Scholarship

National Heritage Board

Summary:

Love heritage? Join us to preserve and celebrate our shared heritage with the NHB Scholarship.

The NHB Scholarship supports passionate individuals to pursue full-time undergraduate or postgraduate studies (up to Masters) in various disciplines that will develop the skills for an exciting and meaningful career in the field of culture and heritage.

The areas of specialisation may include:

·        Archaeology

·        Conservation

·        Museum Studies / Education

·        Curatorial Studies

·        History (Singapore, Southeast Asia)

·        Cultural, Heritage Management

Eligibility:

All Singaporeans are welcome to apply for the NHB Scholarship.

Applicants who are awaiting admission to tertiary institutions are also welcomed. However, proof of admission into the institution must be produced at the time of your scheduled interview. You may not apply if you are receiving financial assistance from another institution or organisation, or if you have commenced your course of studies.
