The Ridzwan Dzafir Community Awards Introduction
The Ridzwan Dzafir Community Awards (RDCA) is incepted in honour of the late Mr Ridzwan Dzafir, a man admired and respected for his relentless service leadership to Singapore as a distinguished Diplomat and an outstanding community leader. Objective To help promising career professionals in the public and social service sector who are pursuing post-graduate studies in relevant sectors. Candidature for the award is by nomination only. Individuals or organizations may nominate candidates. All nominations must include testimonials of past achievements and supporting documents. Third party recommendations to vouch for applicant’s character and integrity must also be provided. Field of Study Nominees would pursue any public and/or social services discipline in which Malay/Muslim community needs to build capacity and leadership. Priority will be given to nominees pursuing:
Eligibility Criteria
Value of Award RDCA (Distinction) One Doctoral Degree award or Two Masters Degree awards to be given out annually worth up to $100,000. RDCA (Merit) Two Community Fellowship awards to be given out annually worth up to $50,000. Application Procedure Application period is from 1 May to 30 June 2018.
