STB Scholarship

A scholarship with STB provides you with a solid foundation to build a promising career and enables you to develop and grow as a dynamic individual. We offer scholarships to outstanding students who are keen to join us to further propel the growth of Singapore’s tourism sector - glowing talents who are creative, dynamic and resourceful.

Prospective applicants are able to pursue their studies in universities across the world and choose from a variety of disciplines – because in STB we celebrate the diversity of ideas and experiences!

STB Scholars are required to serve a four-year bond for local scholarships and a five-year or six-year bond for overseas scholarships.

The STB Scholarship Award includes (non-exhaustive):
  • Actual cost of tuition, examinations and related fees
  • Monthly living allowance
  • Pre-Studies Allowance (computer subsidy, warm clothing & installation)
  • Travel Allowance (approved trips between Singapore and country of study)
  • Language study fees (where applicable)
  • Summer/Exchange Programme (subject to approval)
  • Masters/Postgraduate Programme (subject to approval)
  • Any other compulsory application fees

Upon graduation, you will join STB as a Management Associate.

- STB Management Associate Programme

All management associates will undergo a 12-month programme comprising a series of job placements in various divisions, including a stint in our Singapore Visitors Centre to broaden your knowledge of the tourism sector.

Upon the successful completion of the programme, you will be deployed in one of the divisions in STB to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in a specific area. At STB, we believe in job rotations to develop our officers' capabilities by exposing them to various areas of our business and this includes a posting to any one of our 21 regional offices around the globe.
