Enhancement Programmes
NUS School of Computing celebrates excellence in diversity among our students, and we encourage all to acquire a well-rounded education rather than simply technical training. In line with that, we encourage our students to participate in various enhancement programmes organised at the School, University and national levels, including:

Special Programmes in Computer Science
Two Special Programmes are offered to students in the Computer Science programme, with the objective of nurturing students for an R&D career in Computer Science. The von Neumann Programme blends academic knowledge and industry experience into Computer Science education, and is most suitable for students who love developing complex computer-based systems that will be used by millions of real-world users. The Turing Programme prepares students for a research career in Computer Science, and is attractive to students who love to solve technically challenging problems with a balanced knowledge in theory and practice. Both programmes aim to produce confident and resourceful graduates who are passionate about problem solving, through exploring real-world problems under close supervision of professors, graduate students and industry mentors.

Advanced Technology Attachment Programme
This premium programme places students with established organisations (both local and overseas), to allow them first-hand experience in industry-related projects.  This internship programme has the active support of government agencies and multinationals in sectors ranging from financial services to interactive digital media and bioinformatics research. More details can be found at: http://www.comp.nus.edu.sg/undergraduates/beyond_atap_students.html

NUS-French Double Degree Programmes
These programmes with French Grandes Écoles allow students to be exposed to and learn from foreign cultures, network with Singaporeans and foreigners, and acquire proficiency in a third language. Participating Grande Écoles include Écoles Polytechnique, Telecom ParisTech, etc.  More details can be found at: http://www.comp.nus.edu.sg/undergraduates/dd_french.html

IDA Enhanced Learning in Infocomm Technology (ELITe)
The Enhanced Learning in Infocomm Technology (ELITe) is a talent development programme that aims to develop "industry-ready" infocomm graduates. The School also recognises the need for graduates to be productive soon after completing their studies. In partnership with the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA), the ELITe programme provides opportunities to undergraduates to acquire practical exposure through industry attachments, mentorship, projects and skills development through certifications and exposure to infocomm policy thinking.
