NTU's Nanyang Business School is the first and only Singapore business school to be ranked in the top 25 of the Financial Times Global MBA rankings. NTU is also home to Singapore's first professional art school and the nation's only communications school, well-regarded in Asia for its communication and information programmes. The National Institute of Education provides educational consultancy to countries from Abu Dhabi to Vietnam. The S Rajaratnam School of International Studies is ranked third among 1,000 think tanks in Asia.
Lion's share of research funding
NTU has seen its external research grant awards increasing fivefold since 2005. Its sustainability initiatives have clinched more than S$760m in funding.

NTU, the inaugural Youth Olympic Village, is home to more than 33,000 students and about 5,500 faculty and staff from over 70 countries. The university's 144,000 alumni come from more than 110 countries worldwide. In 2009, NTU led the formation of the Global Alliance of Technological Universities - a network of seven top universities tackling societal issues through leading-edge science and technology.
