Fancy going to Japan, France or Germany?
Now you will have the chance to pursue an Engineering degree in any of these countries. To equip you with the linguistic demands of the course, we will send you to undergo a preparatory programme in the respective country. All that we are looking for is someone with a keen interest in the culture and is willing to take on the challenge of completing tertiary studies in a non-English speaking country.
Why these countries?
You will have the added advantage of being one of our few LTA JFG ambassadors by engaging with our partners and contractors who hail from these countries. For instance, you could collaborate on land transport development opportunities with these countries, update LTA on new transport development and policies, establish good working relationships with foreign contractors, and even negotiate contracts and business deals. Some of our major partners include Kawasaki, Mitsubishi, Alstom, Thales and Siemens.
We are looking for somebody who thinks out of the box and possesses a global outlook in life. If you think you have what it takes to help us meet the challenges of building a people-centred land transport system, we want to hear from you.
Eligibility
- Singapore citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
- Outstanding GCE 'O' Level, 'A' Level / Diploma / International Baccalaureate (IB) results
- Good track record of co-curricular activities

Conditions of Award
Successful applicants will be required to serve a 5-year bond with LTA.
