CPF Board Mid-Term Undergraduate Sponsorship 2010

The CPF Board Mid-Term Undergraduate Sponsorship sponsors undergraduates for their full-time studies at the local university and more importantly, provides them the opportunity to pursue an enriching career in the public service after their graduation.

We invite you to apply for our sponsorship and join the CPF Family upon your graduation for a meaningful career dedicated to meet the Singapore population’s needs in housing, healthcare, family protection and investment. You will play a vital role to ensure that every Singaporean can enjoy financial independence when they retire.

The Candidate
  • Undergraduate in the 2nd year of study and above in NUS, NTU or SMU
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore PR
  • All disciplines are welcomed
  • Good academic performance with strong leadership, good resource management, interpersonal and customer service skills. Good track record of CCA and active engagement in community service would be an added advantage
  • Strong desire for a career with CPF Board and the passion to help CPF members to meet their retirement needs
  • Successful candidate will be bonded for a period of 1 year for every year of sponsorship

We recognise that we cannot serve members well if our people, the staff of the CPF Board, are not ready, able and willing. We are therefore committed to the development and welfare of our people. Under the sponsorship, you can expect intensive attachment programmes during school vacations where you will be attached to a department separately to undertake a specific project to enable you to bond and gain a well-rounded experience with the Board. We strongly encourage you to broaden your horizon and think out of the box to value-add to our services and operations with innovative and practical suggestions.

Embarking On Your Career with CPF Board

Upon your graduation, you will be deployed to one of the operating departments in CPF Board. As a new staff, we will help you to settle in well with our structured induction programmes and ‘buddy’ system. You will also be provided with On-The-Job (OJT) training in addition to other comprehensive training to enhance your knowledge of the operation. Lateral movement in the form of job rotation across departments is possible after 1 to 2 years of service in a department. You will be developed under our structured talent management plan for a well-rounded career in the Board.
